Resident Evil

Resident Evil is a free movie-title serif with a solemn, old-world mood and a distinctly cinematic pull. The letters lean on sharp contrast, crisp wedge-like details, and that long slashing leg on the R, which gives the alphabet a formal Roman flavor with a faintly ominous edge.

It works well for poster headlines, title cards, book covers, game branding, and chapter openers where a few words need that grave, theatrical tone. As a free font, it feels most at home in short display settings and monograms, because the refined capitals and dramatic diagonals do more with less copy.
